James Vanderloo, Branch Manager of OEC Group’s Milwaukee office, brings a unique perspective to supply chain management, combining global trade expertise with a deep understanding of how transportation networks, market dynamics, and public policy influence business success. He leads a key office for OEC Group, one of the world’s largest logistics providers and a leading freight forwarder in the China-to-U.S. trade lane.
As a Board Member of the Madison International Trade Association and member of the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce, James has extensive knowledge of Milwaukee’s and Wisconsin’s business landscape and the supply chain challenges facing companies throughout the city and region. He works closely with manufacturers, distributors, importers, and exporters across the state, helping them navigate shifting tariffs, evolving trade regulations, capacity constraints, and changing sourcing strategies.
His expertise has also made James a respected industry voice in Wisconsin media, where he regularly shares insights on tariffs, global trade, supply chain trends, and economic developments. He has been featured and quoted by a variety of media outlets, including CBS 58 Milwaukee, WTMJ, Wisconsin Radio Network, WisBusiness, and In Business Madison.
James holds a master’s degree in urban planning and bachelor’s degrees in economics and political science from the University of Kansas.
