Trump Administration Releases New Reciprocal Tariff Rates

The Trump administration has updated its series of reciprocal tariffs. The updated tariffs are scheduled to take effect on Thursday, August 7, 2025.
Below is a chart of the countries that have had their tariff rates modified:

The Trump administration’s announcement includes an in-transit clause explaining that any cargo that has been loaded onto a vessel that is destined to the United States prior to August 7, 2025, and arriving to a U.S. port before October 5, 2025, will only be subject to the current tariff rate of 10-percent.
Additionally, effective today, tariffs on copper have been increased to 50% and the IEEPA Fentanyl tariff assessed to Canadian imports has been increased to 35%. Tariffs on all imports from China will remain at 10% until August 12, 2025.
The Trump Administration has also announced that the de minimis duty free treatment will be suspended for all countries on August 29, 2025.
